These silver plated and hot pink cut glass cuff links are a large size measuring .75 inch. The bright pink, foil backed cut glass domes are in good condition. The silver tone swivel closures still work well.

These cuff links are circa 1960 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.

This style of accessory was usually worn at fancy cocktail parties, which were very popular at the time. Sometimes, these over the top pieces were known as, " cocktail" jewelry.
