This necklace is large and gaudy. It is a warm-gold metal, not bright. The gold has been dulled by the plating having been worn off over the years. The smooth cable chain measures 18 inches long and is thick links. The hollow bead dangles measure 1.5 and .75 inches.
The hollow metal ball charms have a smooth gold finish to them and are lightweight. It closes with it's original lobster claw clasp.

This metal necklace is circa 1960 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
