Barbara Streisand wore a Kimberly knit set in a 1965 edition of Vogue! Therefore if it's good enough for Babs it's good enough for you! The sets cost around $55 in 1965 which is about $495 today!
This beautiful and super retro set is in great condition for it's age and the fact that it's wool. The skirt is free of any moth activity that I can detect. The top has a couple of surface grazes as shown in the last two photos. Definitely doesn't take away from it's beauty!
The cream colored wool necktie shell that's pictured was with this set when acquired so I figure that's how the fancy gal who owned this wore it. The shell has quite a few moth holes that aren't seen when worn with the set. I'm not selling the shell separately it's yours as a bonus!
The color is a stunning dark orange.
