Vintage circa 1960 poison ring is a gold plated, cherry pie design. This one is adjustable and is currently a size 7, but could easily adjust down to a size 5 and up to an 8. The design is raised to .5 inch and is deeply cut into the braided cross hatched with raised tiny ball design. The antiqued gold top measures .75 in diameter. The compartment is 5/8 x 1/8 inch deep. It still opens and closes with ease. It is marked, " Vanda, USA".

The hinge is still in good shape and functional. Keep in mind with any poison ring, the more you play with it, the more likely the top can come lose. If you must open and close it, do so with care and slowly. Also with any adjustable ring, be conscience of the overlap of the ring shank as to not catch on things and only adjust once to not weaken the metal of the shank.
