Some History of Mr. John - His name was John Harberger. He began working for his mother in 1926. He became one of the foremost milliners of the 20th century. He and his partner Frederic Hirst also designed hats for the movies. The most famous designs were made for Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind.
