Just in time for Fall, this 2 piece skirt suit by Mary Hayes of California is a classic late 60's style. Gorgeous dark orange/rust color, with two rows of front buttons for a faux double breasted mod look.
Back metal zip closure on skirt.
Jacket is fully lined, skirt is not lined.
This two piece is in very good to excellent condition. There are very few flaws, which are normal for a 50+ year old garment.
See photos for reference:
-a hole about 1/2" in diameter on the front center of the skirt
-small pitting/moth holes in the lining, near the left armpit.
-tear in the lining in the right armpit.
None of these issues affect the wearability of the garment - it could be worn straight away! The tear in the lining, and the hole on the skirt could be easily fixed. Other than these minor issues, the garment is in great condition.
80% wool, 20% nylon bonded. Lining is 100% acetate. There is NO stretch to this suit, so please note measurements carefully.
