60s Cotton Chambray Sundress Sun Dress Med Large 10 12$74.00
Sweet late 1960s' (or very early 70s) "flower child" sun dress features cut-out flowers and multi-colored embroidery. The flowers are made of a foam-backed plastic material. It has deep bust darts, a wide waistband with self ties, large front pockets, flared skirt, and back nylon zipper. Made of cotton chambray, it's perfect for work, casual events, or the beach. It can be worn as a jumper, too, and would look cute with a T-shirt underneath. Approximate knee-length or slightly below. No maker's label, but has a fiber and care label.
SIZE: Labeled size 16, but estimated a best fit for a modern size 10 or 12. Was too large for my 6/8 dress form. Please use the garment dimensions and yours to determine fit. We suggest you compare to a dress you have of similar style or fit.
Measurements, with dress laid flat:
Bust: 40" (the darting makes this best for a full cup)
Waist: 32"
Hip: 43"
Bodice: 16"
Length, from top of shoulder: 40"
CONDITION: Near mint. The only sign of wear I see is a tiny spot on one of the yellow flowers.
