This is just a stunningly glamorous 60s champagne silk evening gown. The gown is strapless with a slight sweetheart bust that is trimmed in soft cream fur. Under the fur is absolutely incredible beading with little beaded tassels, pearls, and Swarovski aurora borealis crystals. It is perfect for shaking and shimmying. The rest of the gown is chic and simple in the iconic column style and in a buttery soft champagne silk. The gown is fully lined and has some great high-end finishing on the inside. The dress has two zippers, the first one fastens up the bodice lining and the second fastens the gown. The bodice is fully boned for support and has a waist tape. The gown is also faced in a heavier weight but lighter cotton to help the gown keep its shape. There is also about a 1”(.5" each side) of seam allowance on each seam of the gown so it can be let out easily. There is also 4" in the hem to be let down if needed. The bust might be the only tricky place because of the embellishments. The dress is labeled Irene Sargent Chicago.

Condition:

The dress is in great condition with only one small flaw to note. There is a small spot on the skirt of the gown near the hem where there was some pinkish color transfer. It is small and hard to notice and does not take away from this fabulous dress. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
