DETAILS: This is a classic late 60s bikini top, also good with cutoffs or capris! It is simply styled, with halter neck and soft unlined fabric cups that gather into a midriff band that comes up to a point at the base of the deep vee neck. The top is almost infinitely adjustable, given the comfy fabric ties.
SIZE: Labeled M, but could fit a range of sizes, depending on the wearer's comfort with cleavage and/or side boob.
The midriff band to which the cups are sewn is 20" (51 cm) wide - I think that part should wrap at least half way around your trunk, meaning at least to where the sideseams of a blouse would be.
FABRIC/COLORS: Medium weight knit with 3-D white polka dots against an orange background. The fabric feels cottony - care tag says OK to machine wash cold, tumble dry "air only".
TAGS: Catalina, California U. S.A.
CLOSURES: N/A, the top has two sets of ties - one for around the neck and another set around the back.
CONDITION: I have hand stitched a 4" section along the lower outer margin of the right cup where the finishing seam came undone - the fabric itself is and was intact. No other issues noted.
