Fabricated in diaphanous layers of black silk chiffon
Fully lined in black crepe de chine
Beautifully constructed structured bodice with boning off to the outer sides of the bust and at the side seam opposite the zipper
Metal toothed zipper down side seam with a hook and bar at the top
Grossgrain ribbon inside at the waist fastens with a hook and eye at side seam
a silk satin bow fastens at the side with a hook and bar.
Ruffles cascade down the open side with a gorgeous fluttering movement

Maker: Helena Barbieri, Perhaps less remembered than some of her counterparts, Helena Barbieri gowns hung with the likes of Ceil Chapman and Adele Simpson and are every bit as well fabricated and constructed.

Condition: Excellent. There is the shadow of residue from a rectangular tag or sticker inside at the center front. This does not feel sticky or tacky and does not show when worn. Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
