Gorgeous vintage Roberta di Camerino handbag from the 1960s. Extremely rare and hard to find!

Founded in 1945, ROBERTA DI CAMERINO is a fashion house in Venice, principally known for its velvet handbags. Its founder, Giuliana Camerino, has been credited with creating the concept of the status bag. Her widely coveted velvet bags featured brass hardware made by Venetian craftsmen, and were carried by celebrities such as Grace Kelly, Farrah Fawcett, and Elizabeth Taylor.

In very good condition. Some wear on the sides. Interior zipper is broken. Interior has some scratches.

Measures approx. 10” from top of the handle to the bottom of the bag.
