I measure outer by placing boot on top of a cloth tape or yard stick, both are firm against a wall and from wall to center tip of front of boot.

sizes are not always contemporary. I do not use tagged sizes but only measurements as a mean to ensure your fit. Take a pair of shoes or boots you love with as close to same heel height and compare measurements is best to get great fit.

Inch to shoe size online states these would be apx 6. 5 to 7 but these are very narrow so I would say 6 to 6. 5
