This adorable day dress from the 1960s features a deep-v neckline and a lovely collar with scalloped edges. The cut is extremely flattering and the brown gingham fabric makes it a really versatile piece. It can easily be styled for any season! There are no tags or labels. It may have been homemade or simply unbranded. It has a metal zipper up the side. There are loops for a belt around the waist, so there may have been a matching belt at one time, but it is lost to time. It would look cute with a belt or ribbon from your closet, but could also be worn without. The dress fits almost like a modern medium, but please review the measurements below.

Bust: 37 inches (taken flat and doubled)

Waist: 30 inches (taken flat and doubled)

Hips: 40 inches (taken flat and doubled)

Length: 41 inches

Condition: Good condition, but there are some issues to note. Very light discoloration around neck and under arms - only visible in certain light. The two sides of the collar don't quite meet in the center. You may want to stitch it or wear a brooch to cover the gap, but I think it looks fine. One small brown stain around the hip. Repairs have been made to the underarm areas on both sides -- see last photo.
