This antiqued gold chain necklace has great textured detail. The 1 inch hollow ball is made up of many textured segments. It hangs from another textured hollow ball with a detailed bail. A small 1 inch multiple chain tassel hangs from the entire pendant. All hang from an antiqued gold cable chain that is thin and measures 26 inches. It has a nice weight to it and not heavy. The spring clasp still works but the chain is long enough to put over your head.

This metal necklace is circa 1965 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
