Vintage 1960s bracelet open fanwork faux pearls signed TARA size 6 3/4
First - the condition - this is a lovely bracelet, with six fans of openwork silvertone (probably plated pot metal) from the '60s. Shiny metal and graduated faux pearls with tiny rhinestones between...I believe at least two of the pearls are replacements - something I don't do as I can never find a true match. The ones I think are replaced are a 6mm on one end and a 4mm opposite that on the same link - this would be the loop end.
Signed TARA on the foldover clasp, it is 6 3/4 if measured on a bracelet mandrel (more accurate) and 7 1/4 laid out flat. Tara Fifth Avenue was the full name of the company and would have been on any hang tags. This company made jewelry for D & E; I'm not saying this is Juliana at all - nope, but that's a little history on the company out of New York City.
The bracelet is 1 1/4 inches wide and those fan shapes are laid and connected to the fan in opposite direction with each link.
Repaired, Very Good condition now. Clasp is fold over.
Pre-owned. The mark is in raised letters.
