60s Black Velvet Dressing Gown Pink Gold Trim Vintage by B.Cohen for Bergdorf Goodman.

Lush soft velvet is likely a silk, rayon, or silk/rayon blend. Solid black with pink and gold trim around neckline, cuffs, and down front. Zipper closure down front with snap at neck. Half sleeves. Maxi length. Gorgeous house coat or dressing gown, would be absolutely amazing as evening wear as well. Good condition, it does have a couple of areas where the pile is slightly crushed. The biggest issue is the left shoulder has a smattering of pinholes and the fabric is a bit thin in this area as well. It isnt totally obvious when at first look but its definitely there. The area is structurally sound but I would recommend using a black interfacing on the inside to reinforce the area and prevent the holes from becoming larger. B.Cohen made some absolutely gorgeous pieces and this one is no exception!
