Vintage 60s Black Straw Split Brim Bubble Hat Dior Details:
- bubble shape
- split brim in 6 sections (velvet trim on brim has wire so holds brim flat or can be bent slightly to bubble the brim sections
- crown formed with 6 triangles of straw woven through a mesh then lined with another mesh for shape
- grosgrain ribbon inner band

Closure: none - fits down on head

Material: straw, velvet (unsure of fabric used but feels like a silk but no fabric to test to be certain), mesh lining

Decade: 1960s

Brands/tags: Christian Dior, Chapeaux, Paris, New York, union label under main brand label

Condition: Very good - makeup on inner grosgrain ribbon and label (since images, I gently cleaned this so barely visible now), slight adhesive residue on small section of grosgrain ribbon, small amount of velvet missing just at very edge where ribbon folds on outside band.
