Beautiful black silk brocade clutch purse. Made in Japan by Tatsumura textiles. Circa 1960s.New and unused in original box.Black silk rectangular shape clutch purse with fold over front flap with a concealed metal snap fastener as pictured.The black silk features woven in metallic gold kabuki style figures as pictured.The interior is metallic silver with one back wall pocket and a divided front as pictured.There is some sort of stiffener in between the outer silk and the inner silver lining.Tatsumura i is a Japanese texture company famed for their silk brocades and luxury textiles. The company was founded in 1864.This was found at the estate of a retired military officer who was stationed in Japan during the 1960s.CONDITION: Excellent - no stains, holes, odors, discoloration, or fading to the outside or inside of this bag.
