60's Black Lace Corset$173.00
This is a classic black lace corset — whoever is lucky enough to own it will get tons of wear from this piece! Made in the 1960s by lingerie brand Carnival, it features full underwire bra cups with light padding for support, and is fully boned all around, in the front and back to create a flattering shape with a tiny waist. I love the embroidered red rose detail in the top center. It is made of panels of mesh-backed lace, and black satin. With its mesh backing, the lace panels are not overly sheer. There is a hook-and-eye closure down the entire back, with two hooks for each eye, providing an adjustable, custom fit. The mesh panels next to the back closure are stretchy, which means you can pull really pull it tight if desired; it can also be worn looser. The scoop back makes it great for layering. Made in the USA.
Measurements: Marked size 34C; shown on a size 32C/D. (In my opinion, this best fits a size 32C-DD or 34C-DD depending on the desired fit, but please see measurements.)
Waist: approximately 25" but adjustable, and can be worn smaller than natural waist
Length: 15"
Great vintage condition, but there are some hook and eyes in need of replacement at the closure.
