Oh, this dress! It's so boho. It's so Dark Mori. It's so Strega.
It's so wearable...and comfortable!
The tag says acrylic, but it feels like the most well-worn and washed flannel.
I'm going to have seller's remorse selling this; I can feel it already.
Imagine yourself at an outdoor concert: Lollapalooza, Central Park, Burning Man...it gets cold at night—this is perfect. Or wear it to a Sunday brunch, or flea marketing, or protesting! Pair it with cowboy boots or sandals and don't think one more thing about it.
Details include the classic fairy tale peasant bodice bordered with rik-rak ribbon and criss-crossed with velvet ribbons. Four black ties hang down the front, and after untying them, and not quite figuring out how else they could tie, I went ahead and braided them back the way they were when I bought the dress. So way back in 1960, someone braided these and I say, let's stick with it, because she obviously knew what she was doing.
Dress zips up the back and black buttons fasten the sleeves at the wrist.
