Gorgeous black chiffon sleeveles cocktail dress with asymmetrical ruffle and front zip. Ruffles come up high on the neck for a stunning and dramatic look. Modern glam A-line silhouette with sheer outer layer.

No size or material tag. Outer layer feels like a chiffon and inner layer more of a taffeta/satin. There is plenty of movent to the dress and fabric, but there is no stretch. Darts at the bust for shaping.
Measurements are 18" flat underarm to underarm, 17" across waist and 20" across hips. The length is 38" long from shoulder to hem and the shoulders measure 15" across. I think this would best fit a small, or a size 4-6, but please use measurements for comparison.

My research on the ILGWU tag dates this as being made between 1963-64. This dress is in spectacular condition with very little wear. There is a small, light colored flaw in the fabric on front near the bottom, as shown in last photo. Otherwise there is no other defects or damage to note. No strange smell.

This beauty will be an absolutely thrilling find for some lucky retro-glam lover!
