Yes, back in the '60s, the jewelry was made here in the USA. Sarah Coventry was a leader in the home party plan and EVERYONE had Sarah pieces. These earrings are silvertone, 1 1/8 inches in diameter, with five pebbly petals, openwork with an outline of petal.

They are clip on and the center of each flower has a black faceted 1/4 inch cabochon. I tested that little beauty, just-in-case: glass (hey it was close to the Summer of Love, who knows what gemstones might have been used in jewelry - onyx look-alike, for sure!).

Clip on, they are signed on the back of the clip. copyright sign, then SARAHCOV - lots of plating over the imprint.

Some wear in the plating, but then, I have some wear on mine, too - after that many years! Shiny silvery, glittery black - nice!
