60s Barkcloth Hawaiian Mini Sun Dress Shirred Empire Top Green Print Extra Small to Small

DETAILS: So cute for summer, and easy to wear! The empire waist bodice has wide straps - it's fitted with elasticized shirring. The skirt is a relaxed a-line with a deep ruffle at the bottom.

SIZE: No size label. Bust measurement reflects unstretched-moderately stretched

Bust - 18-32" (45. 5-81 cm)

Underbust - 18-29" (45. 5-73. 5 cm)

Hips - 40" (101. 5 cm)

Bodice length from approximate shoulder to undebust - 11. 25" (28. 5 cm)

Dress length from approximate shoulder - 36" (91. 5 cm)

Sweep: 84" (213 cm)

FABRIC/COLORS: Medium to heavy weight textured barkcloth - I believe it's cotton, based on look and feel and fiber burn test. The oversized print features creamy white-to-yellow hibiscus with orange tongue, with stephanotis and palm fronds against a green background that shades from true green to chartreuse with tiki/tapas patterns fading in and out.

TAGS: The printed tag is unreadable - there are remnants of a logo in orange in the lower left corner that look tantalizingly familiar, but I haven't been able to pin it down.

CLOSURES: N/A, the dress pulls on over the head

CONDITION: There are two small areas with orangish staining on the bottom ruffle in front - see closeups. They did not come out with an Oxiclean soak. If you felt strongly about eliminating them completely, the ruffle could be removed - that would shorten the dress by 7. 5".
