This table runner was sourced (and made) in Sweden. It comes on a cotton base fabric, which is very typically used for cross stitch embroidery work. The folksy pattern comes in dynamic tones of vivid yellow, bright tangerine orange, black and emerald green cotton floss. Completely embroidered using a cross-stitch style. This piece was most likely used as a decorative object, on a table, or perhaps as a pot or dish trivet (to protect the table from heat). The back of the piece has a small cotton fabric label, with 'Bud Bourge, birth gift' written in Swedish. Overall condition is excellent, with little to no signs of wear and no flaws to note!
