This is a truly iconic and incredibly rare vintage 1970's mini dress. It is made of a polyester jersey fabric with a full taffeta lining. It has a bright white background with a bold saturated striped pattern in red, orange, green and royal blue and features a novelty border print of a flapper at her vanity table with her perfume bottles. The print is titled "The Perfume of this Winter" from the German artist "Jupp Wiertz" and was featured in a 1927 Vogue magazine perfume ad. The depiction is considered to be one of the highlights of the graphic artist's work! It has true dagger collar, button up bodice, short sleeves and its original matching belt. The belt can also be worn tied around the neckline as a bow! This is a very special, truly one-of-a-kind vintage piece!

Labeled an Italian size 42 which is about a US size 6 - The lining has NO stretch- it can easily be removed for a larger fit as the dress itself is stretchy.

The dress without the lining measures: 33" - 38" bust, 28" - 36" waist, 34" - 42" hips, 35 1/2" long shoulder to hemline, 7 1/2" long sleeves.
Excellent condition, colors are bright and vibrant, there is one tiny blue dot on the right sleeve-no other flaws to note (see photo)
