Beautiful mid century Chimayo vest from Ortega's weaving shop in Chimayo, New Mexico. These jackets are hand woven on giant looms in each respective store's workshops and are highly collectable and prized. This piece is a cute vest probably from the 60's or 70s with open sides and a gorgeous black white and grey motif on the front and back. It reminds me of a southwestern style poncho in design. Beautiful original wooden buttons on the front and sides. Pair with some huge flared bell bottoms and chunky boots to complete the look! Condition: Great vintage condition for it's age. This piece has some scrapes on the buttons and very light spots on the back. A few small snags throughout. See photos for condition issues or DM for more photos! Material ❉ 100% Wool Size (I take measurements with garments lied flat, please double for body measurement: ❉ Will best fit a modern small ❉ 15 inches pit to pit, the sides on this vest are open so it allows for some give.
