What fun! What retroness--is that a word? I love the bright colors!! I like the style. I can see this on Mary Tyler Moore, Jan Brady, or Agent 99 from Maxwell Smart! This is such a cute dress. The acrylic weave was a popular fabric and very comfortable and durable. The dress has a hunter green color with a bright teal color in the check pattern. The dress curves in a bit at the waist and then curves out for the hips-very flattering.

This could be worn with a blouse underneath (maybe a turtleneck or a t-shirt, or a fancier blouse). The brand is Carol Evans from JC Penny. The vintage size is 10. Best fit for today will be a women's extra small to small.

The dress came from my elderly neighbor. Her daughter wore this back in the 1970s. She stored it well and now we it can be worn again! How fun to reuse something from that era!
