Vintage ALFRED SHAHEEN hostess dress. Hawai'ian brand from the 1960s/70s. Made in USA. Perfect for a summer wedding, cruise or other formal occasion.

Lightly textured, semi sheer organza type fabric in a soft shell pink. It has a slight sheen when light hits it. (Shaheen's was noted for their innovations in metallic fabrics.) Engineered, screen-printed border paisley at the skirt bottom is in shocking pink, purple, magenta and orange.

Sleeveless sundress style with high neckline, fold-over stand-up collar and bodice cut out. Fitted waist with self-tie sash. Long pleated skirt.
Back zipper and fully lined.

Poly nylon blend. Hand wash only.
Very good vintage condition with not holes or rips. Smoke free home.
Some minimal soiling at the waist (doesn't show when belted), top of skirt and sash. I did not try to clean it. See last 3 pics for details.

Vintage size 10 = modern size 8.
