60's/70's Peruvian Alpaca Poncho Cape

This vintage Peruvian alpaca poncho was a souvenir from the 1960s or 1970s and is made of 100% alpaca with a Mongolian wool style plush trim around the edge and neck. So soft and cozy, with tan base and white stripes across the hem and shoulders. Due to the nature of the fuzzy trim, there's going to be a little bit of debris stuck in the fur but this is not something you'd want to wash, so just expect a bit of lint and stuff to be stuck in the collar. You could trim it out, or pick it out, but mostly it's invisible.

Measures 33" long.

This item was originally owned by Andrea W. of Greenfield NH, who once said that "Denim was the worst thing that ever happened to fashion." She collected a stunning collection of designer pieces through her life, filling up armories and closets with her excellent taste through the years. Andrea loved travel, collected straw hats, and knew a good fabric when she saw one. I will be adding more of her wonderful pieces to my shop throughout the year.
