60’s/70’s North Beach Leather Navy Blue Suede Bell Bottoms Button Front Sailor Pants Whipstitch
Absolutely beautiful and rare suede bell bottom pants made by hand by North Beach Leather when their store was based in Mexico, designed by Robert Warner who formed NBL. This is the era before Michael Hoban came along, when they were making things for the rockers, the hippies, the lovers of free speech and Woodstock. Lovely covered buttons and brown hand whipstitching holds each panel together. Master craftsmanship. Lovely bell and subtle blue color, in certain low light it looks black but the blue and brown contrast is unique. The buttons down both sides of the front is a take on a classic sailor pant, lovely fit. These are more mid-rise so consider that when checking measurements.
A little crotch and hem wear, can be cut to your desired length, a truly awesome piece for the history books.
