Item description: very rare late 1960s black Christian Dior trotter suitcase. Made of coated canvas with black leather piping trim and black leather handle. Large silver metal clasp closures. Suitcase does have the option for a combination but I do not know it. Two corners have been repaired with original Dior trotter canvas in black. It matches perfectly. Interior steel grey quilted taffeta jacquard lining. The jacquard reads Christian Dior all throughout. Three interior compartments. Interior lining does have some staining. This is a hard to find a beautiful piece that can also be used as a display.
