70's Classic Navy Blue Heavy Wool Pea Coat$40.00
Who couldn't use this classic staple Pea Coat in their wardrobe? Just ask Mary Tyler Moore...
She made the Pea Coat an even-bigger hit in the early 1970's, when she wore a Pea Coat during the famous opening credits shot where she tosses her hat in the air (she would continue to wear the coat in different incarnations, throughout the show!)
This version comes in the classic Naval style, with ultra thick woven wool in dark navy blue color (with natural confetti flecks that older, thicker wool has). It's lined with a gorgeous burgundy/cream/navy flannel fabric, for added warmth. Which you may need, given the rather cheeky short or mini-length of this coat!! The other classic features include; a notched, lapel collar, brass-colored military style buttons and side hip pockets. This coat is unmarked and contains no labels. The overall condition is good with some issues, including repaired holes at lower right quadrant (see last pics), some overall signs of light wear, as well as three of the original buttons have been replaced with a similar set, and repairs to the pocket linings.
