Black velvet party dress from the 1970s features a black and white ribbon with bow for a waistband. It has double spaghetti straps, and it is not backless - as it might appear in the photos. The chest was just too small to zip all the way up on our size 6 mannequin. The full-length skirt has an eight-inch wide ruffle around the bootm that is lined in white fabric. The velvet is probably rayon (formerly called "artificial silk" and now often called "viscose"). Back zipper for closure. Based on the measurements, we are estimating the dress to be size 00, 0, 2, or XS. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size.
