This darling—and teeny-tiny—black and red cherries late 1960s-early 70s empire-waist minidress has some of the best sleeves ever! They have double puffs, separated by gathers and trimmed with little red satin ribbon bows! Below the 2nd puff of the sleeve is a fitted cuff. (Because the dress is so petite, the cuffs only come to about mid-forearm-length on our mannequin.) The dress has 2 layers: an outer layer of black, semi-sheer poly-cotton fabric, embroidered with red and cherries and flowers, and an under-layer of opaque black poly-cotton. Below the scoop neckline, the bust is shaped by tiny vertical darts above the very high, horizontal underbust seam. The super short skirt is slightly A-line. The dress fastens in back with a metal zipper. It appears unworn, in excellent to mint condition. Labeled a vintage young teen size (7), the dress will probably fit a small-busted, modern size XXS petite. Please check the measurements carefully, since it is much too small and petite for our mannequin in the bust area. This high-waisted and puff-sleeved late 60s mini dress is one of the cutest I’ve seen!
