Here's the perfect batik textile art piece, ready to be a scarf, wall hanging, or...

What will you do with this lovely example of batik style fiber art? This example is certainly more elaborate than many I've seen. The maker obviously knew his craft well, and seemed to have masterful control over wax, to be able to get such a detailed piece of work. This textile depicts, in an almost rainbow-like form, a variety of animals from a duck-like bird to Indian elephants. There are also four different colors utilized, which means this textile was processed at least four different times! On a light to medium weight woven cotton fabric, now lightly saturated with dyes (interesting texture, but still soft). Condition is mint, like new, never used (clean too) and the piece is signed at lower right corner, simply with 'HENRY'.
