Neumann-Endler
60s 60s Neumann Endler Women's Mod Fedora Fairfield Felts Body Leather Trim$44.00
FEATURES: This 1960s’ ladies' fedora is so wearable today! It was made by Neumann-Endler, Inc. (of Danbury, Ct.) from a Fairfield Felts 100% felted wool body. Features a high crown with shallow teardrop crease, narrow brim, and genuine leather hatband and edge finish. The color is a rich royal blue; the white trim against the blue body is striking! The Neumann-Endler company closed in 1968, and I'm dating this to around then or a couple of years earlier, given its decidedly mod inspiration.
SIZE: Not labeled. About a size 21 to 22. Please use dimensions below to determine fit on your head. (I take a size 22 hat, and this fit me just a bit snugly, but I could wear it.)
Measurements
Inside circumference: Approx. 21 1/2″ around inner petersham.
Crown height at highest (not to crease): About 6 1/4"
CONDITION: Excellent/near mint. There are two barely there pin pricks in the leather band, possibly where a brooch or decorative hat pin may have been attached. Otherwise, pristine inside and out.
