FEATURES: Such a cool example of mid-1960s' mod style! This shoulder bag is made of thick, sturdy leather and is very dark navy blue with a dark red exterior pocket with metal slide buckle. There's red vinyl piping around the edges, a heavy metal Talon zipper, and good-quality pleather lining. No interior pockets. Exterior pocket is large enough to hold a phone (my phone, 6 1/2" x 3 1/4", fits) or checkbook and/or a set of keys. There are metal rings for the strap and a spring hook on one end of the strap. All the hardware is extremely heavy-duty.

No maker's mark on this bag, but I suspect it was hand-crafted. The quality and sturdiness of the leather are better than most of what you see in commercially made bags.

CONDITION: Well-loved and well-used, but in exceptionally good condition. There is one tiny area of corner wear, no edge wear, no significant marring of the leather. On the back, there was a small flattened, round area. Shown in photos, but I've been able to raise the grain of the leather a bit, and it's not noticeable unless you look for it. Finish wear to the rings, hook, buckle, and zipper pull. The pocket has some soiling, which makes sense because it would have been handled quite a bit. Pristine interior.

I've cleaned and conditioned this, and it's ready to use on arrival.

SIZE: Approx. 11" wide x 8" high. Soft-sided to expand. Strap drop is about 12 1/2" to top of bag (true shoulder-bag length; is not a cross-body strap). Strap is 7/8" wide.
