Set of four linen placemats designed by Ritva Puotila for Dansk. The plain weave linen is shot, meaning that the warp and weft are different colors to create an optical color (pink and orange). Nubby texture throughout.

Ritva Puotila designed linens for Dansk from 1963 up to the close of the 20th century. These placemats are from the earliest years of her production with the company, when Dansk advertised the ‘Finnish Accent’ tagline.

Each placemat measures:13 x 17.5" Dansk label sewn to one hemmed end.
