Jane Derby was a New York City-based ready-to-wear designer who had a design house until she died in 1965. When she died, her head designer bought her operations to start his own business: his name was Oscar de la Renta.
This wool winter coat is pre-1965 (the label became Oscar de la Renta for Jane Derby from 1965 to 1967.) It was sold at the Mac Wise Boutique in New York City.
The textural tweed coat has a complimentary dotted tweed for the narrow shawl collar and pocket flap linings. It is fully lined with what feels like a silk crepe chiffon.
This coat is VERY heavy and will require a large USPS Priority Mail flat-rate box, which is $20. International shipping is available but will be calculated for your region.
Please see the measurements for sizing. This was likely made to order, so there is no size tag.
