60s Capris Western Style Black Cotton Pant High Waist$25.00
This pair of cotton-polyester blend, western-style ladies 1960s cropped pants or trousers in black with contrasting white topstitching have a curvy fit, as was common for a mid-century women's pant. The fitted, high-rise waist and full hips are created by vertical darts, seen just above the pockets. Speaking of pockets, the curved front pockets are currently sewn shut, but can be re-opened by their new owner. The slightly cropped pant is tapered a bit from knee to hem, but has a more full shape from knee to hip. The high waist fastens with a button and tab, over a front metal zipper. The medium-weight fabric has a crisp hand and subtle texture, similar to cotton twill (like the fabric used for traditional khaki trousers), but because it is a blend with polyester, that means no wrinkles! This pair of black cropped, tapered 1960s pants with western-style topstitching is in excellent condition; the only issue is the sewn-shut front pockets. Our last photo shows the pant unclipped to the mannequin, to give a better idea of true size.
