60s Vintage Gray Blue Long Wool Cape With Red Trim

A stylish 1960s vintage light weight wool cape in a chambrey blue grey shade accented with red.

A longer length cape with a full back and big buttons.

This cape was home sewn in the era and it has covered buttons, red stitching for accent and it is thoroughly lined in grey satin.

This handmade cape was very well made.

It has a center back seam, two mid side seams and two short vertical darts at the shoulders for shape.

There are long darts on the shoulders and two mid side seams where the arm slits are along with a small collar.

The collar and button holes are top stitched in red.

Due to being a cape, the sizing is hard to measure.

Length 38"

From arm slit to slit it is 19" across.

Across the back at the bust area it is 36" across.

My form is a small and she can wear it. I found it large on myself since I have a small frame, a size 6 - 8, but the arm holes were tight.

Otherwise very roomy.

In unworn condition.

Unfortunately, over the years it has lost one button at the hem. I would move the top to the bottom, and add a decorative one to the top.

Otherwise no holes or flaws.

Priced accordingly.
