60s/70s Slubbed Peachy Orange Men's Long Sleeve Shirt$35.00
This is a nice vintage shirt, probably late 1960s to early 1970s, in a relaxed fit and hard-to-find larger size. It has a fly-out collar that is oversized, but not extremely pointy like later 70s shirts. There is a shirt tail hem and a single patch pocket on the left chest. The label calls this a "Dual... dress shirt... sport shirt".
SIZE: Labeled size 17 34-35
Chest - 44.5" (113 cm)
Shoulders - 20" (50.75 cm)
Collar - 17.5" (44.5 cm)
Length - 31" (78.75 cm)
Sleeve length - 25.5" (64.75 cm)
FABRIC/COLORS: The fabric is light weight, and not completely opaque, as you can see in the photos. Feels like a blend of some sort - nowhere to snip a bit of fabric for a burn test to identify. The color is a peachy light orange - sort of like a Creamsicle, with lighter slubbing for visual interest.
TAGS: Van Dual by Van Heusen
CLOSURES: Six opaque matching plastic buttons down the front, plus two on each cuff and one to close pocket.
CONDITION: There is some minor wrinkling where the collar becomes the neck (see close-up photo) - the collar has an inner facing for body, and the neck does not. The left collar stay is a bit bent (not broken). No stains, holes, tears or other issues noted.
