Striking 1960s party dress in black silk satin by designer Larry Aldrich. Marie McCarthy was the actual designer for Larry Aldrich during this time. The dress has a Mandarin collar which closes on the side with a large rhinestone covered button. The buttons continue down the side - the bodice closes on the left. A panel which leads to a gathered skirt which has a lot of body and puffiness. Pockets hidden on each side! The sleeves are full at the wrist about a cuff that closes with a rhinestone covered button. The bodice is lined with black silk and the skirt with sheer silk organza.the dress is in very good condition with the only flaws to note being the buttons. There are missing rhinestones as the glue has aged. You could replace these easily.
