60’s Purple Silk Dress$150.00
Beautiful late 60s shirt dress hand made using fabric by mid-century modernist artist/designer Harwood Steiger.
Orchid purple medium weight cotton/linen blend screenprint "Six Quail" design in the deeper purple fabric as pictured.
Notched winged collar and front placket to below the waist. Does up with four functional self-covered flat buttons as pictured.
A-line shape. Unlined. No pockets.
Front diagonal bust darts for shaping.
DESIGNER LABEL: This dress is handmade by a skilled seamstress. The fabric is stamped "Harwood Steiger" and "Six Quail" on the turned under hem.
SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium.
For a perfect fit, please compare the measurements to a dress already in your closet which fits you well.
Please note this dress is shown clipped to fit my size Medium mannequin and will fall much better on the properly sized body.
