Add some drama to your closet with this amazing 1960s vintage jumpsuit! The bodice has a scoop neckline and is fitted with horizontal and vertical darts. The wide leg palazzo pants are gently gathered into the waist with seam binding for reinforcement. There is a self fabric sash. And inset sideseam pockets!
SIZE: No size label
Bust - 39. 5" (100. 25 cm)
Waist - 27" (69. 5 cm)
Top: Length from shoulder seam - 16. 25 (41. 25 cm)
Hips - 62" (157 cm)
Front rise - 15" (38 cm)
Pantleg: Sweep - 42" (106. 5 cm)
Pants: Outer length from waist - 37" (94 cm)
My model is 5'7" and the legs are a little short on her - there is a 1. 75" hem.
FABRIC/COLORS: The print is wild - a vibrant oversized paisley with a variety of stylized flowers, in saturated shades of orange, pink, royal blue, and greens with white, as well as a little yellow and lavender, all against an intense turquoise background. The fabric is light weight, but opaque. Based on feel and fiber burn test, I think it is a cotton/acetate blend.
TAGS: Basila
CLOSURES: Metal zipper down the left side seam plus three small clear plastic shank buttons & loops that open the left shoulder strap.
CONDITION: It looks like the buttons each had a large center rhinestone originally - all missing now. It's not a glaring absence IMO, but if you want to gild this lily, you could glue new faux gems in, or perhaps enhance with the nail polish color of your choice. No other issues noted - no stains, holes or tears.
