Measurements - Bust - 32/33"
Sleeveless
Waist - 26/27"
Hips - 34/35"
Length - 53"
Side Slit - 16"
The Bust, Waist, and Hips have some stretch in the wool, thus the range in measurements. This would best fit a Size 4 or 6.
Good Vintage Condition - Overall the Condition of both items are Wear Consistent with Age and Use (keeping in Mind the Dress is from the 60's and the Obi from the 30's). The Original Owner evidently cut out a portion of the label, but the RN #27049 is still present. This Clearly identifies it as a Gene Shelly Gown and it states Made in Hong Kong. Apparently it was worn with a belt that left a light stain around the waist. There is a couple of other small spots that are hard to see. The Kimona Belt is a Beauty as a Shawl for the Gown (if it was shortened, or it could be used as a showpiece in your home). It has some light wear and a few stains but presents beautifully.
