Upon researching this piece, I discovered the fabulous Nikos and Takis who, to this day, own a fashion hotel where guests can stay amongst the most fashionable of decor, be along side movie stars, and even have a custom couture piece made for them by the owners themselves. This piece was handmade by Nikos and Takis in Greece in the 60's, the peak of popularity for the duo when they served stars such as Liz Taylor, crafting her iconic hollywood glam looks.
