ITEM DESCRIPTION: Absolutely stunning 1960s Mr. Blackwell dress that is beautifully tailored and ready for your next holiday party. The gray wool is medium weight with inner lining that is a lovely shade of muave (the sleeves are un-lined). Has a simple tie sash to cinch at the waistline. The fur is in amazing condition, soft, and elegant. There is no stretch to this beauty so double check the measurements below. An amazing piece to add to your collection!
NOTED FLAWS: There are several very tiny moth holes as pointed out in the photos, most have been mended. They are all hard to notice unless you're looking closely.
MEASURMENTS:
Vintage sizing can tricky as the size listed on the tag of a vintage garment does not always reflect the actual size by today’s standards, so it is very important to measure, measure, measure! CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS LISTED BELOW against a similar item you own that fits you nicely. I recommend using a soft measuring tape and laying the garment flat on the floor. To measure the waist and hips with the garment laying flat, measure straight across the waistline/hipline and then multiply by 2 to get the around-the-waist/hip measurements.
