What a sweet and flattering dress! The bodice is fitted with vertical and horizontal darting. Soft inverted pleats create the full skirt. The rounded neckline and short sleeves are edged with silky braid trim, anchored by a small flat bow at the back of the neck.

CLOSURES: The dress closes with a long metal zipper up the back, topped by a hook & thread loop. A 2" wide buckled belt fastens in front
CONDITION: I think this dress may be New Old Stock, never worn. There were small areas of some grime on the white braid that edges the collar and sleeves where the dress was folded during the decades it was put away - that resolved with washing, but the fabric no longer has that crisp feel that comes from the sizing before first wash. Lastly, the corded belt loop on the right is detached on one end.
