60’s Couture Silk Taffeta Empire Waist Maxi Dress
A mid-century wardrobe isn’t complete without an iconic silk taffeta maxi dress! This style was a must have during the era and it’s easy to tell why. This one-of-a-king beauty was 100% hand made by a local Californian designer in the 1960’s. It silk taffeta fabrication boasts a stripes pattern in different shades of blue. And it’s silhouette features short sleeves, a tailored bodice, a flattering empire waist, zipper back closure, and a long floor length. It can easily be dressed up or down and is very comfortable to wear. Due to the hand made nature there is no sizing tag, but it fits a modern day women’s Medium perfectly.
Great vintage condition with no damages to note. Fully lined and back zipper functions perfectly.
